Blum 563F Tandem Plus Blumotion 18" Soft-Close Full Extension 90 lb Undermount Drawer Slide, Zinc, 26275072

Blum TANDEM plus BLUMOTION Undermount Slide for Thicker Drawer Sides

The 563F TANDEM plus BLUMOTION is Blum's 18 inch full-extension undermount slide built for drawer boxes with 5/8 to 3/4 inch sides. It pairs the same integrated BLUMOTION soft-close and full-extension travel found across the TANDEM family with a mounting geometry designed around thicker drawer material, making it the right call when your boxes are built from 3/4 inch hardwood or plywood rather than standard 5/8 inch stock.

Key Features

• Full extension brings the entire 18 inch drawer to the cabinet face, so every inch of the interior is within reach.
• Integrated BLUMOTION soft-close catches the drawer near the end of travel and settles it shut silently without a damper add-on.
• 5/8 to 3/4 inch drawer side compatibility makes this the correct TANDEM model for shops building with thicker hardwood or plywood box sides.
• 90 lb weight capacity per pair handles loaded kitchen, bath, and utility drawers with margin to spare.
• Roller-bearing carriage on zinc-finished steel delivers a smooth, quiet pull that holds up through years of indoor use.
• Fits both face-frame and frameless cabinets, with the appropriate TANDEM series rear mounting brackets for face-frame installs.

Where the 563F Does Its Best Work

This slide is the answer to a specific fit problem: the more common 563H model is sized for 1/2 to 5/8 inch sides, and it will not seat correctly on a box built from 3/4 inch hardwood or thick plywood. The 563F closes that gap. Shops cutting drawer sides from 3/4 inch solid maple, cherry, or walnut, and cabinetmakers building thick-wall boxes for heavy-duty kitchen drawers, reach for this model to keep the full-extension, BLUMOTION soft-close experience without changing their box stock. It also suits retrofit work where an existing thick-sided box is being refit with a concealed undermount for the first time.

Construction and Finish

Steel members carry the load and the zinc finish protects against corrosion through normal indoor service. The roller-bearing carriage runs quietly under load and holds its feel over time. Because the slide is fully concealed beneath the drawer box, the zinc finish is functional rather than decorative — nothing shows when the drawer is open. The 3/16 inch side clearance is the same as others in the TANDEM family, so cabinet-side layout stays consistent across a mixed-thickness job.

Who Should Order This Slide

Custom cabinet shops building in solid wood, production shops with a dedicated thick-side box program, and renovation contractors fitting new concealed slides to existing thick-walled drawers will all find the 563F fits where other TANDEM models do not. It works equally well in frameless European-style cases and traditional face-frame cabinets. For face-frame installs, plan for the matching TANDEM series rear mounting brackets, which are sold separately and are specific to this system. If your drawer sides are 1/2 to 5/8 inch, the 563H covers that range instead.
