This is a Blum LEGRABOX C height steel drawer profile in Orion Gray Matte, a 600mm (24 inch) side profile that forms the structural wall of a LEGRABOX drawer. It is sold as a single profile — left-hand and right-hand orientations are available — and is engineered to work within the LEGRABOX drawer system at a 40 kg load capacity.
The LEGRABOX C height profile is the structural side of a metal drawer system — it takes the place of a wood drawer side and integrates the runner directly into the wall. At 177mm (7 inches) tall, the C height is well-suited to deep pot drawers, large pantry pull-outs, and storage applications where the drawer needs to hold tall or bulky items without adding a gallery rail. The 600mm (24 inch) nominal length works with LEGRABOX runners, backs, and front fixings at the same length designation. In face-frame cabinet installations, confirm rear bracket compatibility before ordering, as face-frame work typically requires system-matched rear mounting hardware sold separately. This profile is for the LEGRABOX system; it does not interchange with TANDEMBOX, MERIVOBOX, or any other Blum platform.
Orion Gray Matte is Blum's coordinated interior color for the LEGRABOX program. Choosing this finish means the drawer sides, front fixings, and AMBIA-LINE organization inserts all share the same tone — no mixing of silvers or grays from different product runs. The steel construction gives the profile its structural rigidity; the double-walled design conceals fasteners on both the inner and outer face, presenting a clean surface whether or not the drawer interior is on display. Because the drawer front, bottom, and back are shop-supplied and cut to the system's published formula, the finish of those panels is the builder's choice — Orion Gray Matte steel coordinates naturally with white, gray, and dark laminate interiors.
Cabinet shops building handleless kitchens with deep cooking-zone drawers rely on the C height to hold full cookware sets without spilling over the side. Designers specifying coordinated interiors use Orion Gray Matte because it matches the AMBIA-LINE flatware inserts, cross dividers, and knife holders in the same system — the whole interior ships in one finish language. Contractors working on high-end residential installs choose LEGRABOX when the client wants a refined look and a confirmed load rating on the deep pull-outs. This is a production-quality, brand-name profile — not an economy substitute — so it belongs in projects where the system spec calls for LEGRABOX C height at 600mm.
No. Left-hand and right-hand orientations are separate SKUs. One order covers one profile — select the correct hand, and order one of each to complete a working drawer.
At minimum: both side profiles (left and right), matching LEGRABOX runners at 600mm nominal length, front fixing brackets for the C height, a steel or shop-cut back panel, and a shop-cut drawer front and bottom per Blum's cutting dimensions. AMBIA-LINE organization inserts are optional but must be specified for the C height.
The C height at 177mm (7 inches) is one of the taller LEGRABOX options and works well for deep cooking-zone drawers. Check your cabinet interior height and the drawer above it against the profile height plus front before committing to C height on shallow-clearance builds.
No. LEGRABOX profiles are engineered for the LEGRABOX system only. Runners, front fixings, and backs from TANDEMBOX, MERIVOBOX, or other Blum platforms are not interchangeable with LEGRABOX components.
The 40 kg rating reflects the load capacity for the drawer as a system at this height and nominal length — not per individual profile. Order runners and components rated to match.
The Orion Gray Matte C height profile gives the LEGRABOX build a cohesive interior from the first component forward — deep enough for serious storage, finished in a color that carries through every AMBIA-LINE accessory, and built from steel that holds the load without flex.
