Silver Side Railing That Keeps the Nova Pro Scala Interior Cohesive

This is the 16 inch (400mm) rectangular side railing for Grass Nova Pro Scala drawer systems, finished in Silver to match the platform's coordinated interior palette. It runs along the top of the drawer side to raise the effective height of the box, retain taller contents, and support a taller drawer front on a lower-profile side — sold as a set for one drawer.

Key Features

• Nova Pro Scala platform fit — engineered for the Nova Pro Scala drawer system and not interchangeable with other Grass platforms or brands.
• Silver finish — a neutral, mid-tone metallic that coordinates with Silver-finish Nova Pro Scala side profiles and hardware.
• 400mm (16 inch) nominal length — pairs with 400mm Nova Pro Scala drawer sides and runners of the same nominal length.
• Rectangular profile — a flat-top rail that reads as an extension of the side wall, not a rounded gallery bar.
• Raises effective side height — keeps contents from tipping and allows a taller front without switching to a taller side profile.

Where the Side Railing Does Its Work

A side railing is the right choice when a drawer needs more interior containment than its side height alone provides. In a deep pot drawer, it keeps lids from shifting forward on the pull. In a pantry pull-out, it holds tall bottles and cans in place without a full-height box. In a handleless kitchen with push-to-open fronts, it gives a taller front panel the backing it needs to sit flush and adjust properly. Any Nova Pro Scala drawer at 400mm nominal length where contents risk sliding over the side edge is the natural home for this rail set.

Finish and Construction

The Silver finish sits in the middle of the Nova Pro Scala color range — brighter than Stone, more subdued than a chrome accent. It is the finish to specify when the cabinet interior will be visible and the customer has chosen Silver-finish Nova Pro Scala sides. The rectangular profile keeps the interior line clean: no curved top edge interrupts the visual continuity between the side wall and the railing above it. Material construction details beyond finish are not stated in the source data for this component.

Who Orders This Rail and When

Cabinet shops building Nova Pro Scala kitchens in Silver typically order the side railing set at the same time as the drawer sides and runners, treating it as part of the finished box spec rather than an afterthought. Designers specifying deep drawers for pot storage or pantry pull-outs often call for the railing to match the containment height of the contents being stored. Installers retrofitting a completed Nova Pro Scala drawer to accept a taller front panel can add the side railing without replacing the side profiles. This rail set is platform-specific — it belongs in a Nova Pro Scala build, not alongside a Vionaro or any other Grass platform.

The Right Rail Closes Out a Consistent Nova Pro Scala Build

Specifying the Silver side railing at the start of the build, matched to the 400mm nominal length, means the drawer goes together as one coordinated system — containment, finish, and front support all resolved before installation begins.
