Grass Nova Pro Scala Side Railing for a Clean Silver Interior

This is the 26 inch (650mm) rectangular side railing set from Grass America's Nova Pro Scala drawer system, finished in Silver. It runs along the top edge of the Nova Pro Scala drawer side to raise the effective side height, retain taller contents, and give the drawer a finished, coordinated look inside the cabinet.

Key Features

• Nova Pro Scala system railing: engineered for the Nova Pro Scala platform and coordinates with its profiles, front fixings, and interior components.
• Silver finish: a neutral metallic tone that suits painted, wood-grain, and light-laminate cabinetry without competing with the drawer front.
• 26 inch (650mm) nominal length: matches the 650mm Nova Pro Scala runner and side profile length for a flush, factory-fitted result.
• Rectangular profile: a flat-topped rail that supports a gallery appearance above the drawer side and can carry Tavinea Optima cross rails and divider holders.
• Sold as a set: the railing set includes the components needed to equip one drawer side at this nominal length.

Where This Railing Fits in a Nova Pro Scala Build

The side railing mounts above the Nova Pro Scala drawer side profile to create a taller visible wall around the drawer interior. That added height keeps pots, bottles, pantry goods, or folded linens from sliding out and gives pot drawers and tall-storage applications the containment they need without switching to a deeper box. In kitchen and bath builds where the drawer front is the design feature, the railing disappears behind it and simply does its structural job. For designers specifying handle-less or push-to-open cabinetry, the Silver finish keeps the interior looking intentional when the drawer is open.

Silver in the Context of Nova Pro Scala Finishes

Nova Pro Scala railings are available in coordinated finish options to match the system's side profiles and Tavinea Optima interior organization components. Silver is a mid-tone metallic that reads as a warm neutral in most lighting conditions, making it a versatile pairing across painted white, gray, or wood-tone cabinetry. If your project specifies a cooler, lighter interior, the Ice finish is the alternative; Stone suits darker or more saturated interiors. Keeping the railing, side profiles, and any Tavinea Optima divider rails in the same finish produces a coherent drawer interior across every opening in the run.

Best Applications and Buyer Fit

Cabinet shops running Nova Pro Scala as their primary system will reach for this railing when a project calls for a deep or tall drawer — pot storage, wine bottle pull-outs, vertical lid storage, or tall pantry drawers. It is equally useful to designers who want to specify Tavinea Optima organization inside the drawer, since the rectangular railing profile accepts the system's divider holders and cross rails. Homeowners specifying a kitchen renovation through a designer or cabinetmaker will see this railing as part of a complete Grass drawer system package rather than a standalone purchase; the Silver finish is the natural default when the hardware palette is not strongly warm or cool.

A Coordinated Finish, Built Into the System

Specifying Silver railings alongside Silver Nova Pro Scala sides and Tavinea Optima components means every part of the drawer interior arrives from the same finish family, saving alignment decisions at install and presenting a consistent look to anyone who opens the cabinet.
