This Vauth-Sagel VS ENVI Space waste pullout mounts above the slide rather than below it, routing the soft-close hardware to the cabinet top so both grey bins stay fully accessible from the front of a 15-inch face-frame base cabinet.
A standard bottom-mount waste pullout places the slide hardware on the cabinet floor, which raises the bins and cuts into usable bin depth. A top-mount configuration flips that arrangement: the slide rides at the top of the cabinet opening, so the bins hang down and use the full interior height. In a 15-inch base cabinet where width is already the constraint, recovering that vertical space means each 31-quart bin can carry a meaningful load. The full-extension travel brings both bins out past the cabinet face so the back of each bin is as reachable as the front.
The two bins are 31 quarts each in grey, a neutral finish that reads cleanly against most cabinet interiors. The soft-close slide mechanism is built into the top-mount hardware, so the damping is part of the carriage rather than an add-on. When a loaded carriage is pushed back, the soft-close takes over before the close and guides it shut quietly. The unit is sized for face-frame cabinets and requires a minimum cabinet opening of 15 inches wide, 20-1/2 inches high, and 20-5/16 inches deep.
This pullout is well matched to a kitchen layout where a narrow base cabinet is the only available spot for waste and recycling, and where the cabinet construction is face-frame. The top-mount design is also a practical choice in a run where the adjacent cabinets carry bottom-mounted hardware and keeping the floor of this cabinet clear is a priority. Designers specifying a whole kitchen can use this unit to solve the 15-inch waste-cabinet problem without giving up bin volume. Cabinet shops building face-frame runs to spec will find the minimum opening dimensions precise enough to work from directly.
The slide hardware mounts at the top of the cabinet opening rather than the floor. This frees the cabinet bottom, allows the bins to use the full interior height, and keeps the slide mechanism clear of any moisture or debris that collects on the cabinet floor near a sink run.
The two 31-quart grey bins are included with the carriage. Confirm with your order whether lids are included or sold separately for this configuration.
This unit is sized for face-frame cabinet construction. The minimum opening dimensions are specified for face-frame cabinets; a frameless installation may require a different configuration from the ENVI Space line.
The carriage attaches to the cabinet door so pulling the door open draws both bins out with it. No separate pull or handle on the carriage is needed for daily use.
This top-mount configuration puts two full-size grey bins into a 15-inch face-frame base cabinet, with soft-close slides and full extension, so a tight kitchen run handles both trash and recycling without giving up floor space or bin volume.
