This Salice Series 200 Logica hinge is built for cabinet boxes set at a 45-degree outward angle, hanging overlay doors on those angled faces with self-close and toolless arm engagement on both frameless and face-frame cabinets.
Standard concealed hinges are engineered for a cabinet face that meets the wall or floor at 90 degrees. When the cabinet face angles outward at 45 degrees, as on a bay-front kitchen run, a diagonal furniture piece, or an angled corner unit, the arm geometry has to match that angle or the door will not clear the opening cleanly. This hinge is built exactly for that condition. The +45 degree cabinet angle is built into the hinge body, so the door swings true on the angled face without shimming or workarounds. The 35mm cup bores into the back of the door in the standard way, and the arm connects to a Salice base plate on the cabinet, ordered separately. That plate is Salice-specific: plates from other brands will not connect to this hinge.
The hinge is plated steel finished in nickel. The Logica toolless clip means the arm snaps onto the mounted plate cleanly and releases just as easily, which matters on angled cabinets where re-hanging a misaligned door is more work than on a standard box. After the doors are on, the height and side adjustment lets you dial in the reveal without pulling the hinge off the plate.
