The Fulterer 2200 is a 12 inch, non-handed, epoxy-coated steel roller slide in the FR 2021 series — built for shallow drawers where standard-motion, 3/4-extension performance is exactly what the application calls for. One set handles one drawer, with no side-specific sorting required on the shop floor.
A 12 inch slide is a specialist, not a compromise. Spice drawers, bathroom vanity accessory drawers, desk pencil drawers, and small organizer inserts in frameless base cabinets all share one requirement: a slide that fits the shallow cabinet depth without hanging off the back of a short drawer box. The 2200 is sized for that job. The standard-motion design also suits applications where a self-closing ramp would work against the install — for example, small drawers paired with a push-to-open mechanism that needs a free-sliding slide to function correctly.
The FR 2021 series uses steel members with a baked epoxy powder-coat in white. Epoxy is not a structural upgrade over zinc — it is a color choice, and white exists so the slide recedes against a white or light-toned cabinet interior rather than drawing the eye when the drawer is open. The roller-bearing system keeps travel smooth and quiet at this duty level. Side clearance is 1/2 inch per side, consistent with standard Euro slide practice.
Cabinet shops running short-drawer production in white-interior frameless boxes will find the non-handed 2200 easy to batch — pull two from the bin, one goes left, one goes right, no orientation check needed. Remodelers and finish carpenters replacing worn slides in a bathroom vanity or built-in desk get a straightforward drop-in at a length that is often hard to source locally. The 100 lb rating covers everyday residential loads at this drawer size without being over-specified for the application.
This listing is a complete set — one line item covers both sides of a single drawer. No separate left-hand or right-hand members to match up.
Standard motion means there is no self-close ramp and no detent. On a level cabinet the drawer stays put, but it will not pull itself shut if left partly open. If a self-closing action is required, look at the self-closing models in the Fulterer line.
On a 12 inch slide with 3/4 extension, roughly the front 9 inches of the drawer clears the cabinet opening — the rear few inches stay inside. For full access to the back of the drawer, you would need a full-extension model.
Subtract 1 inch from the inside cabinet width — 1/2 inch of side clearance per slide, per side. A 12 inch wide cabinet interior calls for an 11 inch wide drawer box.
It can, but face-frame installations set the cabinet side back from the front frame, so you will need rear mounting sockets or brackets to support the back of the slide. Those are sold separately and should come from the same series.
When the cabinet is shallow and the finish needs to disappear, the Fulterer 2200 delivers the length, the color, and the straightforward motion to get the drawer running without over-engineering the spec.
