The AvanTech YOU Illumination Design Profile in Anthracite is a finishing and lighting component for the Hettich AvanTech YOU drawer system, sized at 600mm nominal length. It provides a coordinated visual element along the drawer interior while integrating the system's illumination feature, delivering a finished, contemporary look on dark-toned drawer builds.
Design profiles in the AvanTech YOU system run along the drawer interior to close out the visible gap between the side profile and the drawer bottom or front, while also carrying the illumination element. In a 600mm build, this profile pairs with 600mm AvanTech YOU side profiles and the corresponding runners. It is the component that makes the interior look intentional rather than assembled — especially visible in open, handle-less kitchens where the drawer interior is in view when the drawer is open. The Anthracite color reads as a strong, dark neutral that holds its own next to graphite fronts, dark wood veneers, or matte lacquer panels without competing with them.
Anthracite is a deep charcoal-to-near-black finish that has become a staple in contemporary European kitchen design, particularly in projects that use dark hardware and matte surface materials throughout. Within the AvanTech YOU program, the Anthracite finish runs across side profiles, back panels, and design profiles so the full interior reads as one coordinated color. This profile carries that finish while also housing the illumination function, so there is no need to source a separate lighting strip and reconcile its color against the drawer sides. Material construction details beyond finish and color are not stated in the source data for this SKU.
This profile suits kitchen designers specifying handle-less or integrated-appliance projects where the drawer interior is part of the visual story, cabinet shops building AvanTech YOU kitchens at 600mm depth, and remodeling contractors completing a dark-format kitchen where every visible surface — including open drawer interiors — needs to land in the same color family. The illumination function adds practical value in lower drawers or deep pulls where contents can otherwise be hard to see. It is a specification choice, not an afterthought hardware add-on, and it belongs in the design conversation early so the rest of the AvanTech YOU component order aligns to the same depth and finish.
No. The Illumination series integrates lighting directly into the design profile. A standard design profile carries only the finishing function. If illumination is in the spec, this is the component to order; if it is not, a non-illuminated profile is the appropriate choice.
No. The 600mm nominal length is specific to 600mm AvanTech YOU installations. Design profiles, side profiles, and runners must all share the same nominal length for the system to assemble correctly.
No. AvanTech YOU components are engineered for the AvanTech YOU platform and are not interchangeable with other Hettich runner families or drawer systems.
The sold-as unit and the number of profiles per drawer installation are not stated in the source data for this SKU. Confirm the quantity needed per drawer against the AvanTech YOU installation documentation before ordering.
Anthracite is a finish offered across the AvanTech YOU component range. Order all components — sides, back, and design profiles — in the same Anthracite finish designation to ensure a consistent interior color.
In a dark-format AvanTech YOU kitchen, every component the eye lands on when a drawer opens should be the same color. The Anthracite Illumination Design Profile closes that loop at 600mm — handling the finish, the lighting, and the system integration in a single specified part.
