Salice Futura 21" Soft-Close Full Extension 75 lb Undermount Drawer Slide, Zinc, A7555/533 CP6

Zinc Undermount Drawer Slide for Face-Frame and Frameless Cabinets

The Salice Futura 21 inch soft-close undermount drawer slide is a fully concealed, full-extension runner built for drawer boxes with 1/2 to 5/8 inch sides. It fits both face-frame and frameless cabinet construction, making it a practical single-SKU choice for shops running mixed project types.

Key Features

• Full extension brings the entire 21 inch drawer out to the cabinet face, giving complete access to the back of the box.
• Integrated Smove soft-close catches the drawer near the end of travel and settles it shut silently without a slam.
• Fits both face-frame and frameless cabinets, so one slide model works across traditional and European-style casework.
• Designed for 1/2 to 5/8 inch drawer sides, covering the most common dovetailed and doweled box constructions.
• Steel construction with zinc finish delivers durable, reliable performance through years of indoor use.
• Roller-bearing carriage runs quietly and smoothly under load.

Where This Slide Fits Your Work

A 21 inch undermount slide is the right length for standard base cabinet drawers in kitchen, bath, and built-in furniture work. The Futura's dual cabinet-type compatibility is especially useful for shops that build both face-frame and frameless lines simultaneously: the same slide handles both without requiring separate SKUs per construction style. The 75 lb per pair capacity is well-suited to spice drawers, cutlery organizers, and medium-weight utility drawers where a concealed, hardware-free look is part of the design brief. Because the slide mounts beneath the drawer box, nothing shows from the sides or beneath when the drawer is open.

In face-frame cabinets, the rear of the slide requires matching Futura rear mounting brackets, sold separately. Those brackets are Futura-specific and do not interchange with other brands or series. Build the drawer box to Salice's published specification for the Futura line, including nominal 21 inch length, the correct box width, bottom recess, rear notch, and drilling for the Futura front locking clips.

Materials and Construction

The Futura slide is built from steel with a zinc finish, a functional protective coating suited to the dry indoor environment where undermount slides operate. The roller-bearing carriage keeps movement smooth and quiet across the full travel range. Because the slide lives underneath the drawer box and out of sight in normal use, the zinc finish is protective rather than decorative. The integrated Smove damper is built into the slide body — no separate add-on unit to order or install.

Who Should Specify This Slide

Cabinet shops producing residential kitchens and bath vanities in mixed construction styles will get the most from this SKU's face-frame and frameless flexibility. Designers specifying handle-less or minimalist fronts benefit from the fully concealed profile, and homeowners retrofitting older cabinetry with soft-close runners will find the 21 inch length matches most standard base cabinet depths. At 75 lb per pair, this slide is best matched to drawers carrying organized contents rather than heavy pots or double-bin waste pull-outs — for those applications, a higher-capacity undermount is the right call.
