This Salice Series 700 Silentia concealed hinge is built for blind corner cabinet doors, carrying an inset overlay geometry and soft-close damping on both face-frame and frameless cabinets.
A blind corner cabinet sits where two cabinet runs meet, and its door has to open without hitting the cabinet beside it. That constraint is what the opening angle on this hinge is engineered for: it holds the swing to the arc the door needs to clear the adjacent box. Inset overlay geometry keeps the door sitting at the opening rather than over the cabinet side, which is the position a blind corner layout typically demands. The 35mm cup bores into the back of the door, and the arm connects to a base plate on the cabinet, ordered separately. Use a Salice base plate matched to your cabinet type and door position, as plates are not interchangeable across brands.
The hinge is steel in a nickel finish, from Salice's Series 700 premium line. Series 700 is where Salice puts Silentia soft-close, the damping system that takes the impact out of the close. In a blind corner install the door often swings back toward the cabinet face after being released, and Silentia keeps that return from becoming a slam. Height adjustment of plus or minus 2mm and side adjustment of plus 4.5mm and minus 1.5mm give you room to bring the door square after the box is set.

Silentia is Salice's soft-close damping system. It slows the door over the last few degrees of travel so it settles quietly without slamming. Self-close uses a spring to pull the door shut but does not cushion the contact. This hinge damps the close; it does not just spring it.
