The full-extension design means the entire drawer — front to back — comes out past the cabinet face when open. On a 30 inch slide, that is a deep drawer fully exposed, not just the front two-thirds. Standard-motion design means there is no soft-close mechanism or spring to work against; the drawer stays wherever it is positioned, which suits work environments where the drawer stays open during a task.
