A standard full-extension slide brings the drawer face level with the cabinet opening. Under a kitchen countertop overhang or behind a thick face frame, that stopping point means the last few inches of the drawer stay in shadow and out of easy reach. This slide travels 1 inch beyond its nominal length, pulling the entire drawer box clear of the obstruction. That matters most in under-counter installations, worktop drawers in shop cabinets, and renovation work where the cabinet carcass sits deeper than a flush-frame setup. The hold-in anti-rebound detent adds everyday practicality: close the drawer firmly and it stays put instead of rebounding open.
The slide is built from cold-formed steel and finished in zinc plating, the segment standard for indoor side-mount ball bearing slides. Zinc protects the steel members against the moisture and humidity typical in a kitchen or shop environment. This is a functional working finish, not a decorative one; it sits beside the drawer box where it does its job out of sight. The zinc finish is not rated for wet, marine, or outdoor environments.
