Full overlay is the dominant configuration in modern cabinetry: the door covers nearly the whole cabinet side so the box behind it disappears. The 35mm cup presses into the door via pre-bored dowel holes, skipping cup screws entirely and keeping the line moving on CNC-driven production runs. The arm then clips to a Salice base plate mounted to the cabinet. That plate is sold separately and must be a Salice plate matched to this series; plates from other brands will not connect to this arm.
