The Salice 700 Series Silentia hinge brings integrated soft-close and toolless Logica mounting to full overlay doors on both face-frame and frameless cabinets, finished in nickel.
Full overlay is the setup where each door covers nearly the whole cabinet side, leaving only a narrow gap between adjacent doors. This hinge is built for that geometry: the straight arm holds the door in the full overlay position while the Silentia damper takes the impact out of every close. The 35mm cup bores into the back of the door, and the arm mounts to a Salice base plate on the cabinet, which is sold separately. Use Salice plates with this hinge; plates are brand-specific and a plate from another manufacturer will not connect correctly.
The hinge body is plated steel, the material that handles the mechanical load of daily opening and closing without fatigue. The nickel finish is the practical reason to specify this Series 700 over the economy line: on a run of cabinets where the hardware is visible at the stile or door edge, a consistent nickel tone across hinges, handles, and slides reads as a finished, intentional interior.
