Grass Zargen Drawer Side and Slide Kit for Tall-Content Drawers

This Grass Zargen 6436 drawer side and slide kit combines an 8-3/8 inch tall side profile with an 18-1/2 inch slide in White Epoxy finish, giving deep drawer boxes a clean, finished wall and built-in running gear in one package.

Key Features

• 8-3/8 inch side height — one of the taller profiles in the Zargen line, suited to pots, pantry pull-outs, and tall-storage drawers.
• 100 lb weight capacity — rated to handle a fully loaded deep drawer without flex or drag.
• 3/4 extension — the drawer opens most of the way, with the rear section staying inside the cabinet at full travel.
• White Epoxy finish — a durable, factory-applied coating that pairs with white cabinet interiors and painted box faces.
• Metal construction — steel side profiles provide structural rigidity without adding bulk to the drawer box.
• Zargen system design — the slide is engineered into the side profile, so running gear and drawer wall arrive as one coordinated component.

Where This Kit Works Best

The 8-3/8 inch side height makes this kit the right pick when drawer contents are tall enough to tip or shift in a standard-height box. Pantry pull-outs carrying canned goods, base cabinet drawers holding pots and lids, and storage applications where the contents need a taller wall to stay organized all fit this profile well. At 18-1/2 inches, the nominal length suits mid-depth base cabinets that do not have the depth for a longer slide. The 3/4 extension brings the drawer comfortably out for access without requiring full-travel clearance at the back of the cabinet — a practical choice where cabinet depth is limited or where an adjacent appliance or wall narrows the pull-out path.

Finish and Construction

The White Epoxy coating is a powder-applied, baked finish that resists chipping along the drawer's working surfaces. It reads as a clean white inside painted or white-laminate cabinets and matches other Zargen White components in the same installation. The metal side profiles are formed steel, providing a stiff, warp-resistant drawer wall that holds its geometry under load. Because the running gear is part of the profile rather than a separately mounted slide, there are no exposed rail components on the drawer box exterior.

Who Orders This Kit

Cabinet shops building production runs of painted or white-interior kitchens reach for the Zargen system when they want a metal drawer box with integrated running gear and a consistent interior finish. The tall 8-3/8 inch side suits any run that includes deep storage drawers alongside standard cutlery and utensil boxes — ordering one system across the job simplifies tooling and reduces part-count. Designers specifying white kitchens with a clean, handleless aesthetic also pair the Zargen side profile with a coordinated front for a finished look. Homeowners replacing a damaged drawer box in an existing Zargen installation should confirm the side height and nominal length match the original before ordering, since Zargen components are system-matched and not interchangeable with other brands.

A Tall-Profile Kit Ready for Deep Storage Work

When the drawer box needs the height to hold what the cabinet actually stores, the 8-3/8 inch Zargen side profile gives you a metal drawer wall, integrated running gear, and a White Epoxy finish in one kit — sized at 18-1/2 inches for mid-depth base cabinet runs.
