A 3/4-Extension Drawer Side and Slide Kit Built for White Cabinet Interiors

The Grass Zargen 6136 drawer side and slide is a metal drawer system component pairing a 4-5/8 inch white epoxy side profile with an integrated slide, designed for cabinets where a clean white interior and a compact drawer profile matter. Sold as a box of five, this 14 inch nominal-length kit supplies both the left-hand and right-hand sides and runners needed to outfit multiple drawers in a single order.

Key Features

• Integrated side-and-slide design combines the drawer wall and running gear into one metal profile, eliminating the need for a separate ball-bearing slide alongside a wood box side.
• 3/4 extension travel opens the drawer to roughly three-quarters of its depth — appropriate for most kitchen, bath, and storage applications where full rear access is not required.
• 100 lb weight capacity handles demanding drawer loads including pantry goods, tools, and heavy kitchen contents.
• 4-5/8 inch profile height suits standard-depth drawers and works with Zargen-matched fronts and back panels at this height.
• White epoxy finish coordinates with white cabinet interiors and painted or thermofoil drawer fronts without a visible finish mismatch at the side wall.
• Box of 5 sets — each set includes both left-hand and right-hand members, so a single box covers five complete drawers.

Where This Side-and-Slide Kit Fits

The Zargen system is well suited to production cabinet shops building white-interior frameless and face-frame cabinets where the drawer box itself is the Zargen metal profile rather than a separate wood box riding on a conventional slide. The 14 inch nominal length targets standard base cabinet and desk drawer depths. The 3/4 extension means the drawer opens far enough for everyday kitchen, bath, or shop use — pots, canned goods, office supplies, and similar contents are all accessible without requiring the full rear depth. For applications where full access to the back of the drawer is essential, a full-extension system is the better fit.

Material, Finish, and Construction

The side profiles are metal — the structural element of the Zargen drawer system — finished in white epoxy. White epoxy is a baked-on factory finish standard in this product family, durable enough for everyday drawer cycling and visually consistent with white laminate or painted cabinet interiors. Because the finish is part of the side profile itself, the interior of the assembled drawer box presents a uniform white surface that does not require an additional liner or paint step. Components, front fixings, and cover caps for the Zargen system are Zargen-specific and do not interchange with other Grass drawer system families or with competing brands.

Who Orders This Kit

Cabinet shops running white cabinet programs are the primary buyer. A box of five side-and-slide sets allows efficient staging for a multi-drawer cabinet run without reordering mid-job. Designers specifying white European-style frameless cabinetry will find the profile height and extension class match typical kitchen and bath layouts. Contractors sourcing replacement Zargen sides for a service call can match the white finish and 14 inch nominal length to the existing installation, provided the cabinet was originally built on the Zargen 6136 series.

Five Drawers Done Right, in One Box

The Zargen 6136 side-and-slide kit in white keeps the drawer run moving — a box of five matched left-and-right sets means less time reordering parts and more time building cabinets that look finished from every angle.
