This is a Grass Nova Pro Scala rectangular side railing in Ice finish, 270mm (11 inches) long, designed to run along the drawer side and raise the effective height of a Nova Pro Scala drawer interior. It is a gallery rail component matched to the Nova Pro Scala system — not a universal accessory.
A side railing runs lengthwise along the interior wall of the drawer, sitting above the Nova Pro Scala side profile to increase the effective interior height. That added height is useful in deeper storage drawers where contents — bottles, rolled linens, stacked pouches — would otherwise clear the standard side profile. It also contributes to the finished look of handle-less and open-front drawer designs, where the railing is visible from above and its finish matters as much as its function. In an Ice-finish Nova Pro Scala build, this railing continues the same cool, neutral tone across the full interior wall.
Ice is one of Grass's coordinated interior finish options for the Nova Pro Scala program, and using it here keeps the railing visually consistent with Ice-finish Nova Pro Scala side profiles and interior organization components. The rectangular cross-section is the Nova Pro Scala side railing profile — flat-faced and cleanly proportioned rather than round or tubular. Material details beyond finish and profile shape are not stated in the source data; specify from Grass's current Nova Pro Scala technical documentation if exact material confirmation is required for a project submittal.
Cabinet shops building Nova Pro Scala drawer packages in an Ice finish use this railing when the drawer depth calls for an 11-inch (270mm) nominal length and the design requires a gallery rail above the side profile. Kitchen designers specifying handle-less interiors select the Ice railing to carry the finish tone consistently from drawer side to railing to any Tavinea Optima divider components in the same finish family. Homeowners upgrading or replacing damaged parts in an existing Ice-finish Nova Pro Scala installation will find this the direct match for that length and color. Because the railing is system-specific, it is not a candidate for mix-and-match with other Grass programs or other brands.
The sold-as unit is not explicitly stated in the source data. Confirm the pack quantity at checkout or with customer service before ordering — side railings are often used in matched pairs, one per drawer side.
No. This railing is sized for the 11-inch (270mm) nominal length. Nova Pro Scala railings are length-matched to the drawer depth; a different drawer depth requires the corresponding railing length.
Technically the railing is the same profile, but the Ice finish is a distinct color. Mixing Ice railings with Stone or Silver components will produce a visible color mismatch at the drawer side. Order the railing in the finish that matches your Nova Pro Scala side profiles.
No. Nova Pro Scala components are engineered for the Nova Pro Scala platform and are not compatible with other Grass drawer systems. Use railing and accessories specified for the system you are building.
A coordinated Ice-finish railing at the correct 270mm nominal length means no field modification, no color compromise, and a drawer interior that looks as specified from the first install.
