Grass America Nova Pro Scala 22" Railing Set, Ice, F102103531507

Ice Finish Railing Built for the Nova Pro Scala Platform

This is a 22 inch (550mm) rectangular side railing from Grass's Nova Pro Scala drawer system, finished in Ice. It mounts along the top of the Nova Pro Scala drawer side profile to increase the effective side height, retain tall contents, and create the clean-lined interior look the platform is known for. This railing is a Nova Pro Scala system component and is not interchangeable with railings from other Grass platforms or other brands.

Key Features

• Ice finish coordinates with Nova Pro Scala side profiles and front fixings in the same colorway, keeping the drawer interior consistent from front to back.
• Rectangular profile gives the railing a flat, architectural appearance across the top of the drawer side rather than a rounded or wire-style look.
• 22 inch (550mm) nominal length matches the Nova Pro Scala 550mm runner and side profile set for this drawer depth.
• Gallery railing function raises the effective drawer side height to retain taller contents without moving to a taller side profile.
• Nova Pro Scala system fit ensures the railing seats and clips correctly into the platform's side profiles with no modification.

Where This Railing Fits the Job

Side railings serve drawers where the standard side profile height is not enough to contain the contents reliably. A pot drawer, a pantry pull-out, or a deep storage drawer loaded with items that can tip or shift benefits from the added height the railing provides. In kitchen work, the Ice finish pairs naturally with white or light-toned drawer fronts, keeping the interior color language consistent when the drawer is opened. For a designer or homeowner building a handle-less kitchen with a pale palette, the Ice railing reads as a deliberate design choice rather than a neutral afterthought. In a production cabinet shop running Nova Pro Scala across a whole kitchen, ordering railings in the same finish as the sides and front fixings ensures every drawer in the project matches.

Finish and Construction

Ice is Grass's cool, light neutral in the Nova Pro Scala color program. It reads as a clean white with a slight warmth, coordinating with the platform's Ice-finish side profiles, front fixings, and cover caps. The rectangular profile presents a flat upper surface rather than a curved wire, which gives the drawer interior a more architectural, furniture-quality look. The railing is a formed metal component engineered to the Nova Pro Scala system's dimensions, so the fit at the drawer side is precise rather than approximate. Because finish consistency across the drawer interior matters on any visible-interior build, this railing should be ordered in Ice when the rest of the Nova Pro Scala components in the drawer are also Ice.

Who Orders This and When

Cabinet shops running Nova Pro Scala on kitchen and bath projects reach for side railings when a client wants taller drawer interiors, handle-less fronts that reveal the full drawer side, or a pot and pan drawer where contents need to be retained at height. Designers specifying a pale, Scandinavian-influenced kitchen interior find the Ice finish supports that palette without introducing a contrasting color element. Homeowners replacing or adding to an existing Nova Pro Scala installation should match the finish of the railings already in the cabinet to avoid a visible mismatch when the drawer is open. This railing suits the 22 inch drawer depth — confirm the nominal length of your Nova Pro Scala runner set before ordering.

A Precise Fit for a Finished Drawer Interior

Ordering to the right nominal length and finish from the start means the drawer interior comes together without surprises. Match this 22 inch Ice railing to your Nova Pro Scala 550mm components and the interior finishes consistently from the runner up to the top edge of the side.
