This Rev-A-Shelf 4WTCD Series drawer brings organized flatware storage to a narrow frameless base cabinet, riding on full-extension, soft-close slides so every utensil is fully visible and gently returned each time the drawer closes.
A narrow base cabinet is often left with a single drawer that tries to hold everything and organizes nothing. This tiered drawer changes that: two levels separate forks, knives, spoons, and serving pieces into dedicated zones rather than piling them in a single flat tray. Because the slides are full-extension, the back tier comes all the way to the front of the cabinet opening, so reaching past the front row is not part of the routine. For a drawer that sits behind a cabinet door rather than a standard drawer face, the door-mount design means the whole unit moves with the door, keeping the hardware concealed inside the cabinet.
The drawer box is maple, a closed-grain hardwood with a consistent surface that holds finish well. Sand and stain or paint it to coordinate with the cabinet interior before installation. The slides are Blum soft-close, which means they pull the drawer through the last few inches of travel on their own and dampen the close so there is no slam. At 21-21/32 inches deep, the drawer uses the available cabinet depth without overrunning a standard base cabinet box. The minimum opening depth required is 21-3/4 inches, so measure the cabinet interior before specifying this unit.
This size is the right answer for a narrow frameless base cabinet, typically a 15-inch cabinet run, where a wider cutlery drawer would not fit. It suits kitchen remodels where the designer has assigned a dedicated flatware cabinet but is working within a tight layout. Cabinet shops building frameless runs in galley kitchens, butler's pantries, or secondary prep areas will find the 13-1/2 inch width useful exactly where a standard 15-inch or 18-inch drawer cannot go. It also works as a replacement drawer in an existing run when the original tray offered no real organization.
The cabinet opening must be at least 13-1/2 inches wide, 4-1/2 inches tall, and 21-3/4 inches deep. This drawer is sized for frameless cabinet construction.
The Blum soft-close slides are included and ready to install. The maple drawer box arrives unfinished, so apply your chosen stain or paint before installation if you want it to match the cabinet interior.
A door-mount bracket connects the drawer to the cabinet door so the two move together when the door is opened or closed. This keeps the slides and drawer concealed behind the door face.
It is non-handed and installs without a left or right orientation requirement.
Choose this drawer to bring tiered cutlery organization and soft-close performance to a frameless base cabinet where width is limited and a standard organizer will not fit.
