A 420mm slide suits drawer boxes in that nominal length — common in base cabinet drawers that fall between the 400mm and 450mm standard steps. Because this is a full-extension slide, the whole drawer box clears the cabinet opening, so nothing at the back stays trapped. That access matters most in kitchen utility drawers, spice and utensil storage, and bath vanity drawers where small items drift rearward. The 90 lb per pair capacity is the right range for those loaded everyday-use drawers without stepping into heavy-duty territory.

The Quadro V6 5D 420mm is built for drawer sides from 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch (approximately 12.7mm to 16mm). Boxes with 3/4 inch sides need the separate 19mm version of the slide.
Quadro front locking devices are series-specific and sold separately. They must be the correct version for the Quadro V6 — clips from other Hettich series or other brands will not seat properly.
This SKU is rated for frameless construction. Face-frame installations require a face-frame-configured version with matching rear mounting brackets — using this slide in a face-frame cabinet without proper rear support will compromise the installation.
The 2D adjustment on the front locking devices lets the installer tune the drawer front in two directions after the drawer is hung — typically height and side — to dial in the gap and alignment without removing the drawer.
