This Fulterer 26 inch full-extension soft-close ball bearing drawer slide is built for drawers that go deep: wide kitchen pull-outs, tall pantry drawers, and utility cabinet boxes where a standard 22 inch slide comes up short. It mounts to the side of the drawer box and cabinet interior, rated 100 lb per pair, and closes every cycle with an integrated damper rather than a slam.
Most kitchen base cabinet drawers run 18 to 22 inches deep, but deeper boxes change the math. A pantry pull-out, a wide pot drawer, or a utility cabinet with a 24-plus-inch interior depth calls for a slide that spans the full run. At 26 inches, this slide supports drawer boxes built to match deeper cabinet interiors while full extension ensures the rear of the box clears the cabinet face completely when open. Pair that with a soft-close damper and a loaded deep drawer settles shut quietly instead of rattling to a stop.
Steel members carry a zinc finish that protects against the humidity and temperature swings common in kitchens, laundry rooms, and workshops. Zinc is a functional indoor finish: durable, corrosion-resistant, and unobtrusive beside the open drawer. It is not a decorative or stainless finish, and it is not rated for outdoor or wet-area use.
This slide suits cabinet shops and contractors building or replacing drawers in deeper base cabinets, pantry units, or utility casework. Homeowners replacing worn slides in an existing deep cabinet will find the non-handed format makes the swap straightforward. The 100 lb per pair rating covers most residential and light commercial drawer loads at this depth, and the soft-close action makes it the right choice wherever a silent close matters: kitchens, bedroom built-ins, and home offices.
No. 26 inches is the closed length of the slide. Because this is a full-extension slide, the drawer member travels approximately the full slide length, bringing the entire drawer out to the cabinet face — but slide length and travel distance are two separate specs.
True soft-close. An integrated damper slows the drawer to a controlled, quiet close over the last portion of travel. A spring self-close pulls the drawer shut but does not slow it; this slide does both — the damper catches the drawer and settles it gently.
No. The slide is non-handed, so both pieces in the pair are identical and either one mounts on either side of the drawer box.
Build the drawer box 1 inch narrower than the cabinet opening to leave 1/2 inch of side clearance on each side for the slide.
Side-mount ball bearing slides need support at the rear of the cabinet in face-frame construction. Add the appropriate rear mounting brackets for this installation — brackets are series-specific and sold separately.
A 26 inch slide at 100 lb per pair with full extension and a built-in soft-close damper covers the full range of deep drawer work — from the loaded pantry pull-out to the bedroom wardrobe drawer — without adding complexity to the install.
