20-Inch Zargen Drawer Side and Slide Kit for Mid-Height Cabinet Drawers

This Grass Zargen side and slide kit pairs a 3-3/8 inch metal drawer side with an integrated 20-inch slide in White Epoxy finish, delivering a complete drawer construction unit sized for standard mid-depth cabinet runs. It is designed for shops and installers building or replacing drawer boxes where a finished white interior is the target look.

Key Features

• 3-3/8 inch side height suits standard base cabinet and desk drawer applications without crowding the carcass above.
• 20-inch nominal length matches common 20 to 21-inch cabinet depths in residential and light commercial work.
• 100 lb weight capacity handles loaded kitchen, bath, and office drawers reliably.
• 3/4 extension brings the drawer most of the way out for everyday access without over-travel hardware.
• Self-closing mechanism pulls the drawer shut over the last inch of travel — a positive close, not a damped soft-close.
• White Epoxy finish on the metal side profiles delivers a clean, painted look that matches white laminate and painted cabinet interiors.

Where This Kit Fits the Job

The 20-inch length is the right choice when cabinet interior depth runs between roughly 20 and 21 inches — typical in base kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and office desk units built on standard 24-inch nominal depth. The 3/4 extension opening is well suited to drawers holding items you reach in for rather than need to remove completely: utensils, clothing, stationery, and bath supplies all live comfortably in a 3/4-extension box. For drawers where complete rear access matters — file drawers, deep pantry pull-outs, or tool storage — consider a full-extension slide instead, as 3/4 extension will leave a portion of the drawer depth behind the cabinet face.

Construction and Finish

The side profiles are formed metal finished in White Epoxy, a coating that resists chips and scuffs better than painted MDF sides and wipes clean without degrading. The integrated slide hardware is built into the Zargen system, so the side and runner arrive as one calibrated unit rather than a drawer box paired with a separate slide. This keeps the drawer construction process direct: build the bottom and back to the Zargen cutting formula, attach the fronts, and the system is complete. Material is listed as metal; the Zargen program uses steel profiles as the structural element of the side wall.

Who This Is For

Cabinet shops producing white shaker or painted-door kitchens will find the White Epoxy finish blends into the interior without a secondary finishing step. Millwork contractors replacing drawer boxes in residential renovations often specify this length because 20-inch Zargen sides drop into the cabinet depth range where the original boxes were sized. The self-closing mechanism suits family kitchens and bath installations where clients expect drawers to close on their own without a premium soft-close price point. Designers specifying white drawer interiors across a run of cabinetry can order this kit at volume and match finish throughout.

A Clean White Interior, Ready to Build

The Grass Zargen 20-inch side and slide kit in White Epoxy takes a drawer box from raw components to a finished, self-closing unit sized for the cabinet depths most commonly found in residential production work. Build the box to the Zargen spec and the drawer performs from day one.
