10-5/8 Inch Zargen Drawer Side and Slide Kit for Shallow Utility Drawers

The Grass Zargen 6036 is a metal drawer side and slide kit that combines the structural drawer side with the running gear in one integrated unit, sized for shallow drawers in cabinetry where a low-profile side is the right call.

Key Features

• Integrated metal side and slide — the drawer side and runner are one unit, so there is no separate slide to mount.
• 3-3/8 inch side height — built for shallow utility, cutlery, or spice drawers where a taller side would be too much.
• 10-5/8 inch nominal length — suited to compact or small-format cabinet applications.
• 100 lb weight capacity — handles a fully loaded shallow drawer without flexing.
• 3/4 extension — opens the drawer to approximately three-quarters of its depth for everyday access.
• Self-closing mechanism — a ramp pulls the drawer shut over the last inch; note this is a positive close, not a damped soft-close.

Where This Drawer Kit Fits

A 10-5/8 inch nominal length puts this kit in compact cabinet runs — think a small base cabinet below a cooktop, a narrow bathroom vanity drawer, or a utility cabinet in a tight space. The 3-3/8 inch side height suits shallow applications: cutlery drawers, spice pulls, desk accessory drawers, or any run where a standard-height side would crowd the interior or conflict with a fixed shelf above. The 3/4 extension gives everyday reach into the drawer; items near the back will require a reach-in rather than pulling completely into view, which is acceptable in most utility and organizer contexts. If full access to the rear of the drawer is the priority, a full-extension version of the Zargen system is the better choice.

Construction and Finish

The Zargen side profile is formed metal finished in White Epoxy, a durable painted coating that resists chips and scratches in daily cabinet use. The white finish coordinates with painted or white-laminate cabinet interiors and is consistent with the Zargen system's color program across side heights and lengths. Because the side and slide are one assembly, there are no separate epoxy rail components to finish-match — the unit arrives ready to pair with a wood or panel drawer bottom and the system's front fixing hardware.

Who Orders This Kit

Cabinet shops building shallow drawers in white-interior kitchens, bath vanities, or utility cabinetry reach for this kit when the job calls for a self-contained metal side-and-runner solution that does not require a separate slide rail. Designers specifying compact drawer stacks get a consistent look across a run without mixing side and slide components from different product lines. Contractors replacing or retrofitting Zargen-system drawers can match the existing side height and finish without sourcing parts from two separate programs. Because this is a Zargen-system component, front fixing brackets, cover caps, and rear mounting hardware must come from the Zargen line — cross-system accessories will not fit.

A Compact Kit Built for the Job

When the drawer is shallow, the cabinet is small, and a clean white interior is the spec, the 10-5/8 inch Zargen kit delivers a matched side-and-slide solution without the guesswork of pairing components from separate product lines.
