Grass Zargen Drawer Side and Slide for White-Interior Cabinet Builds

The Grass Zargen 6036 is a 22 inch metal drawer side and integrated slide kit finished in White Epoxy, combining a 3-3/8 inch steel side profile with a self-closing slide in a single ready-to-build unit. It is designed for production cabinet shops and builders who want a clean white interior on self-closing drawers without the additional step of mounting a separate slide and box.

Key Features

• Integrated side and slide design — the steel drawer side and the running gear ship as one unit, so there is no separate slide to source or align.
• 3/4 extension travel — the drawer opens to roughly three-quarters of the side length, giving solid access to drawer contents without requiring full cabinet depth clearance behind the box.
• Self-closing mechanism — a ramp-style self-close pulls the drawer shut over the last inch of travel; this is a positive close, not a damped soft-close.
• White Epoxy finish — a durable baked-on white coating that matches white melamine drawer boxes and white-interior cabinet builds.
• 100 lb weight capacity — rated at 100 lb per the product attributes, suitable for loaded kitchen and shop drawers.
• 3-3/8 inch side height — a mid-profile height suited to standard utility and kitchen drawer boxes.

Where This Drawer System Fits

The Zargen 6036 at 21-5/8 inch length (22 inch nominal) is a practical choice for kitchen base cabinets with standard depth, bathroom vanities with drawer banks, and shop storage cabinets where a self-closing action keeps drawers from rolling open on an uneven floor. The 3/4 extension travel means the drawer opens far enough for everyday kitchen access — cutlery, utensils, and tools — without requiring the extra cabinet depth that a full-extension system demands. If your project calls for complete rear-of-drawer access, a full-extension slide is the right call instead; the 3/4 extension trade-off here is depth efficiency for moderate-access drawers.

White Epoxy Finish and Construction

The White Epoxy coating is a baked-on finish applied to the steel side profile, giving a consistent white surface that coordinates with white melamine or painted drawer boxes and white cabinet interiors. The metal construction keeps the side profile rigid under load. Because this is an epoxy-finished steel product, it is suited to dry indoor environments — kitchens, baths, offices, and shop interiors. It is not rated for humid, wet, or exterior conditions.

Who Orders the Zargen 6036

Cabinet shops building white-interior drawer banks in volume reach for the Zargen series because the integrated side-and-slide format cuts assembly steps per drawer. Kitchen designers specifying self-closing drawers on economy or mid-range projects get a reliable positive close without paying for a damped soft-close system on every box. Contractors doing renovation installs appreciate that the 22 inch nominal length fits the most common North American base cabinet depth. The 100 lb rating handles the weight of a full set of kitchen tools or a loaded shop drawer without issue.

A White-Interior Drawer Unit Built to Run

The Zargen 6036 at 22 inches in White Epoxy is a straightforward choice when the build calls for consistent white interiors, a reliable self-close, and a side-and-slide unit that goes together fast — without overbuilding for a drawer that does not need full extension or a damped close.
