Salice Excentra face frame hinges are designed as concealed cabinet hinges for face-frame construction, so doors close cleanly while hardware stays out of sight. The hinge provides perfect closing to any kind of door, supporting consistent results across mixed runs. A 106 degree opening angle gives typical cabinet access while keeping swing controlled around nearby components. The self-closing design pulls the door shut at the end of travel, which helps doors stay closed without additional catches. All steel one piece construction creates a solid hinge body, and nickel plating resists corrosion so appearance and movement are maintained in normal cabinet environments. The hinge cup depth is only 11 mm, which allows this hinge to be used on most door styles where shallow cup drilling is preferred. Designed as a 1-7/16 inch overlay face-frame hinge, it supports that overlay dimension directly in layout and boring.
The hinge is designed as a face frame hinge, so it interfaces directly with face-frame cabinet construction rather than frameless cases. A 1-7/16 inch overlay specification defines how far the door overlays the face frame, guiding hinge position during layout. Hinge cup edge drilling distance of 2.5 mm provides a clear drilling offset from the door edge, which supports using line boring or dedicated jigs. The 11 mm cup depth means the hinge cup hole does not need to be drilled as deep as some alternatives, which is useful on thinner door profiles. The hinge is designed to work with cabinet doors up to 3/4 inch thick, so it covers common kitchen and bath door stock without additional calculations. The 106 degree opening angle also factors into layout near walls or tall ends where swing clearance is considered.
The hinge is part of the Salice Series S face frame hinges, so it is intended for concealed mounting on face-frame cabinets in kitchen, bath, or similar casework. As a concealed cabinet hinge, it keeps hardware hidden when doors are closed, which suits residential and commercial cabinetry where a clean exterior is specified. The hinge is designed to work with cabinet doors up to 3/4 inch thick, covering common panel and solid door builds in many shops. Excentra face frame hinges with overlays of 1/2 inch and greater have zero door protrusion, so in those overlay ranges the open door does not project into the cabinet interior. That characteristic is useful for roll-out storage or interior organizers that need full clearance past the door edge. The defined 1-7/16 inch overlay of this hinge supports layouts in that higher overlay range when planning door and opening sizes.
This 3-cam adjustable hinge provides the best side to side adjustment in the industry, so installers can correct butt door problems and uneven reveals after doors are hung rather than during drilling. Excentra three cam adjustment offers cam depth adjustment from plus 2.8 mm to minus 0.5 mm, which lets the door sit closer to or slightly away from the cabinet front to align planes. The same Excentra system provides cam lateral adjustment from plus 3.0 mm to minus 2 mm, allowing precise tuning of gaps between doors or between door and stile. Slotted screw hole height adjustment of plus or minus 2 mm adds vertical movement, so top and bottom lines across a run can be brought into line. All hinges are self-closing design, which keeps door behavior consistent across multiple openings in a bank. Excentra face frame hinges are designed to work with Salice Type U soft-close devices, so soft-close function can be added using that matching device where a softer shut is specified.
The hinge is a Salice Series S face frame hinge, so it is intended for mounting on face-frame cabinets rather than frameless cases.
The hinge is specified as a 1-7/16 inch overlay face-frame hinge, so it is used where the door overlays the face frame by that amount.
The hinge is designed to work with cabinet doors up to 3/4 inch thick, covering common kitchen, bath, and built-in door thicknesses.
The hinge has a 106 degree opening angle, which provides typical cabinet access while keeping the swing within that defined range.
The hinge provides cam depth, cam lateral, and slotted height adjustment, allowing fine tuning of in-out, side-to-side, and vertical door position.
Excentra face frame hinges are designed to work with Salice Type U soft-close devices, so soft-close action can be added using that matching unit.
Salice Excentra face frame hinges combine a 1-7/16 inch overlay, 106 degree opening angle, and 11 mm cup depth with three-cam adjustment, giving installers control of door position on face-frame cabinets. For projects needing concealed cabinet hinges that support 3/4 inch thick doors, defined overlay, and self-closing action, this Salice Series S hinge with nickel-plated all steel one piece construction offers a focused solution built for consistent cabinet door alignment.
