Salice Excentra S face frame hinge gives a concealed solution for 5/16 inch overlay cabinet doors, so face-frame projects achieve a clean look while keeping adjustability. This hinge is part of the Salice Series S face frame hinges, which are designed to provide perfect closing to any kind of door, so mixed door runs across a jobsite can use the same hinge family. The hinge is a self-closing design, so doors are pulled shut at the end of travel, which helps maintain consistent alignment in everyday use. A 106 degree opening angle lets the door open wide for access while staying within typical residential and light commercial applications. The product is a concealed cabinet hinge for face-frame cabinets, so the hardware stays out of sight when the door is closed, which supports a finished appearance on visible installations.
The hinge cup edge drilling distance is 2.5 mm, so cup boring setups can be standardized around that offset on door production. The hinge is designed to work with cabinet doors up to 3/4 inch thick, so many standard face-frame doors fall within its range. Excentra, two cam adjustment hinges provide cam depth adjustment from plus 2.8 mm to minus 0.5 mm and cam lateral adjustment from plus 3.0 mm to minus 2 mm, which allows on-the-job correction of reveals and alignment without re-boring holes. Slotted screw hole height adjustment of plus or minus 2 mm supports small vertical shifts to line doors across a bank. The hinge is described as screw-on, so it fastens to the cabinet using screws, which suits typical shop and field tooling for cabinet installation.
Salice Series S face frame hinges provide perfect closing to any kind of door, so they fit well in residential kitchens, baths, and general casework where a consistent close is desired. The hinge is designed to work with cabinet doors up to 3/4 inch thick, which aligns with many stock and custom face-frame door builds. Excentra face frame hinges are designed to work with Salice Type U soft-close devices, so they integrate into projects where a separate soft-close device is part of the hinge plan. Excentra face frame hinges with overlays of 1/2 inch and greater have zero door protrusion, benefiting cabinets where interior fittings sit near the opening and extra clearance is useful. The hinge is a concealed cabinet hinge, supporting jobs that call for hidden hardware on finished installations.
This 2-cam adjustable hinge provides the best side to side adjustment in the industry to ensure butt door problems are resolved, which gives added room to correct tight or uneven gaps between paired doors. Excentra, two cam adjustment hinges provide cam depth adjustment from plus 2.8 mm to minus 0.5 mm, so the door can be brought closer to or further from the face frame to align with adjacent fronts. Cam lateral adjustment from plus 3.0 mm to minus 2 mm lets the installer shift the door side to side on the hinge, tightening reveals along end panels or between doors. Slotted screw hole height adjustment of plus or minus 2 mm helps align door tops and bottoms across a run without moving the cup position. All hinges are self-closing design, which supports consistent final door position after these adjustments are dialed in.
The hinge is designed to work with cabinet doors up to 3/4 inch thick, so it matches many standard face-frame cabinet door constructions used in kitchens and other built-ins.

The Salice Excentra S face frame hinge with 5/16 inch overlay, 106 degree opening angle, and self-closing function supports concealed cabinet builds needing reliable adjustment. Matching the 11 mm cup depth, 2.5 mm cup edge drilling distance, and door thickness up to 3/4 inch lets this hinge integrate into many face-frame layouts. Using its cam depth, cam lateral, and slotted height adjustments, installers can fine-tune doors across a run for consistent gaps. For projects set up around Salice Type U soft-close devices and overlays at or above 1/2 inch, this hinge works within that system and supports zero door protrusion on those qualifying overlays.
