The 1805 series is built for production kitchen, vanity, bath, and closet cabinetry on the 32mm system. The white epoxy finish is a deliberate match to white cabinet interiors — melamine, thermofoil, and white-painted panels — where a zinc or almond member would stand out when the drawer is open. That makes this the right call whenever the interior finish is white and appearance on open matters to the end customer. It also suits refacing and replacement work where the existing slides are 1805-series members and you need to swap one side without replacing the whole set.
The white epoxy coating is baked powder-coat over steel — a finish choice built to blend with the interior, not a structural upgrade. The steel members and nylon rollers are the standard 1805 construction, carrying the 75 lb load rating at 3/4 extension. The self-closing ramp pulls the drawer home over the capture zone with a positive, undamped close. That is self-close, not soft-close: the drawer snaps shut rather than settling silently. No. The 1805 cabinet member is designed to work with 1805 drawer members from the same series. Members from other brands or other KV series do not interchange.
This is a 3/4-extension slide. On a 20 inch member, the back few inches of the drawer remain inside the cabinet at full open. It does not bring the entire drawer out to the cabinet face.
