This is the right-hand cabinet member from Knape and Vogt's 1805 series, a 22 inch (550mm nominal), white epoxy-coated, self-closing, 3/4-extension roller slide component for side-mount installation. It is sold as a single right-hand piece, intended for production shops and cabinet builders who order members by hand to control quantity and reduce waste.
The 1805 series runs on metric nominal lengths from 300mm to 600mm, and the 22 inch member is the 550mm position in that range. It suits traditional cabinetry and production frameless work where the white interior look matters as much as function. Kitchen drawer stacks, bathroom vanity banks, and closet organizer drawers are the natural home for this slide: light enough in load demand to work well at the 75 lb rating, and deep enough in the 22 inch length for standard-depth cases. Knape and Vogt recommends a maximum drawer width of 18 inches for the 1805 series, so plan accordingly before ordering for wider openings.
The white epoxy powder coat is baked onto the steel member and is the detail that sets this component apart from a zinc-finish slide on a painted or white-laminate interior. Where a zinc slide catches the eye inside an open drawer, the white epoxy face recedes. The finish is a cabinet-interior color choice — it does not add structural strength — but for finished furniture pieces and display cabinetry it makes a visible difference. The steel construction underneath handles the load; the epoxy coat handles the look.
One functional drawer on the 1805 series needs four members: a right-hand cabinet member, a left-hand cabinet member, a right-hand drawer member, and a left-hand drawer member. This listing is only the right-hand cabinet member. Two right-hand pieces cannot make a working pair. Production shops running high drawer counts order members individually to match hand and quantity without paying for pieces they do not need. The Q-Pack format is aimed at that kind of volume purchasing. Replacement buyers picking up a single damaged member will also find the individual member listing useful, since it avoids ordering a full set to replace half of one.
No. This is the right-hand cabinet member only. To run one drawer you also need the matching left-hand cabinet member and both the right-hand and left-hand drawer members from the same 1805 series.
No. The 1805 series closes on a ramp: push the drawer within the capture zone and the ramp pulls it shut with a firm, positive close. There is no damper. Soft-close would slow and cushion the drawer in the final inch — this slide does not do that.
This is a 3/4-extension slide. The rear portion of the drawer stays inside the cabinet at full open — plan for that when deciding what goes at the back of the drawer.
No. Cabinet and drawer members must come from the same 1805 series. Members from other brands or other KV series are not interchangeable.
Knape and Vogt recommends a maximum drawer width of 18 inches for the 1805 series. Build the box 1 inch narrower than the cabinet opening to leave 1/2 inch of side clearance on each side.
For cabinet shops building or restoring white-interior cabinetry, ordering the 1805 right-hand cabinet member individually keeps the parts count clean, the finish consistent, and the drawer stack looking finished from the inside out.
